Le mans classic 2284 miles towing !

Hi all , just got back from the le mans classic went for a week and enjoyed Brittany so much we took another week there.
Even in all the heat 42 o we were told towing the caravan the temp needle hardly moved, and used less than half a pint of oil .
Only trouble I had was slight fuel leak from the carb., that took 15 min to fix.
Was good to see so many classic cars .
Saw a few stags in the camp site but there wasnt anybody with them.

Fantastic.
I know some of the N London boys went to Le Mans along with a 65 Mustang, perhaps you saw them.... well their cars.

What weight is the Van and what MPG do you think you get? MOD or Auto?

I didnt get a ticket for tet rouge through the tssc as I didnt apply for it in time but my mate got me a ticket for the green camping with the teams as he was there with his car ADU 1B .
My stag is Manual with OD , the van is quite heavy it was built in 1973 ish and is a four berth , Ive never ever worked out my mpg, the car is for fun and I dont want to seea sign with a mileage on it and think , thats gonna cost me ......
towing shell go through quarter of a tank in about an hour and thats sitting at 60 on the motorway.
