Well I dont care what the bloke in Practical Classics says, I think my stag looks good with a brown coat , after all I bought it with it.

Its okay guys he didnt just pick on brown apparantly Java Green, Magenta and topaz is not a good look either.

What do you think?

Where does he live and the 70's kaleidescope gang will pay him a visit!

I never used to like Java or Topaz but now I love them, I think Triumph got it right,problem was the rest of the world hadn't caught up with them!

Brown, Java Green and Topaz are all very groooovy 1970s colours and suit the Stag well - not sure I could live with Magenta though :?

No Bill,it was a comment on prices- however the article in Classics weekly was quite kind......

I don't care if others like Java Green or not, I do (obviously), and so does the wife..... important point that when you have to fix the car and she wants the grass cut.........

I think that looks alright on that car - more of a girlie colour mind and nowhere near as manly as Java or Topaz:P..... what would you call it - crushed strawberry or just plain pink?

I have always said Brown is classy. I had a 1971 MK2 Vitesse also which I think looked cool. Most Stag colours I like, my least favourite is white but I do not like that on any car !

Hi Jason

I've had 2 red's Pimento & Carmine, I've got a Dark Green & a White one both in bits for restoration.

My daily driver is Inca Yellow, must say I'm well and truely hooked on the colour.

Paul, very nice. I had an MGB GT in inca before the stag. It used to stand out in a crowd. Inca just suits the stag. I'm also quite taken with Topaz.
