I've been thinking about going for chrome but do they mark easily? Obviously stainless are more expensive but is it worth the extra expense in the long term?

I'mthe same as Andy - recommend s/steel (it's a no brainer IMHO). The only thing I would do differently is get a hexagonal socket to fit them and take them off with, as I chewed the corners slightly using a non-hexagonal one from my socket set, as I had the wheels on and off several times before I realised the way to stop it happening.

 Hope this helps,

Dave, where did you get your locking wheel nuts and how does the locking bit work? Don't suppose you could post a photo'? Have have stainless wheel nuts and diamond cut alloy wheels with white-lined tyres that look great on my car but I don't want them to look good on someone else's car (if you see what I mean?)

 Regards, John.

I have had both , started with chrome but after a few years the act of removing them chipped the chrome off SS every time had the SS ones for a few years now and they are fit and forget.Standard stag thrashed and enjoyed, Nissan Murano ( very underrated, very thirsty, very fast)
