NEW heater valve removal tool

I had a batch of these made back in the 80's now I have had another batch made, makes removing stuck heater valves a simple job.

useful tool but not hard to fabricate something yourself-for probably a one off use.
a long screw threaded all the way down+nut
a piece of tube to fit over the valve
a big washer with a small hole to sit on the end of the tube
sit tube over valve with large washer on the end, screw the nut up the bolt then enter the screw thro the washer and screw into valve as far as it will go then run the nut down to the washer and gradually tighten up which will draw the valve out-worked a treat for me just have to make sure you have the correct thread for the bolt-don't ask what this is I just foraged in my box of bits and found one.
bit awkward working in the footwell but took about 10 mins once bits sorted.

I found doing what it said in the ROM worked and it cost nothing!

Like rac, I have removed a few using odds-and-sods from the bottom of my toolbox, but not everyone can do that. The tool looks well made and, as it comes from Tony, I'm sure it will work. Nice one Tony.

Now sold the first batch, new batch arriving in a week or so, must be popular or just didn't want to spend time cobbling a Heath Robinson tool and risk damaging the valve.
