Here we have a great Triumph Stag Manual in Rare Damson with black interior and original factory hardtop.
Main items of work done since 2019:-
· Re-con Engine, Gearbox, Overdrive and Differential (under 2000 miles since)
· New clutch, Slave cylinder and rebuild Master cylinder
· New brakes including callipers and SS hoses
· New shocks and springs all round
· New front and rear bushes
· 5 new diamond cut wheels and Firestone tyres
· New hoses and new uprated radiator, Revotec fan & extra cabin switch fitted
· New battery and alternator
· Second bonnet release cable fitted (handle on drivers side under dash)
· Zenith Strombergs stripped, cleaned and rebuilt (CO2 reading 3.05%)
· New fuel tank
· Replace original Tan interior with complete new Black interior/carpets, Motolita steering wheel, Mk2 seats with headrests.
· Fluids changed annually, including water/Bluecol Antifreeze change (just done)
The car was originally built mid-1972 and first registered Sept 1972. It seems factory output was a mix of Mk1 and Mk2 parts around this time – this car has Mk1 dashboard, grey badges, small Triumph plinth on rear bumper.
