    Err...... No!

You can help me paint my front end and change my timing chains...

Cars booked in on the 16th of October, repair drivers door and rust on front wing, strip and repaint the whole car, seemed like a good idea at the time but would prefer to get the underneath finished before I have the top repainted so may put it off till Ive got that done. Unless a TT or 350z comes along that is. More than willing to help you with yours if youve got a heater in the garage.

      Hi Dave,

Well well, not sure quite how to answer this. I can see both sides of the argument.

As you know I've had a 'few classics' - Triumph GT6, Lotus Excel S.E. and a Mazda MX5 - but I had the Stag at the same time as all of these...

The more modern MX5 was an excellent "second classic", never went wrong and was economical. I sold it 18 months later, I was bored with it. It needed nothing. The Stag however, was just so much more rewarding to drive and attracted more admiring comments and looks than the MX5.

I do have a fairly new modern saloon for day-to-day driving, but I'm always happy to jump back in the Stag.

As you know I now have the '66 Mustang (as well as the Stag). Even now, if I had to sell one of the cars... I'd still keep the Stag.
