cam cover text orientation

    well i am flabbergasted I have owned both the stag and the dolomite and never noticed the depth of the front chain cover, just goes to show you learn something new every day.

    And today I are mostly learning about cam covers
    Standard stag thrashed and enjoyed, Nissan Murano ( very underrated, very thirsty, very fast)

        Typical BL quality control. Why bother to look to make sure that the covers are in the press the right way round when you can just chuck 'em in any old way and get a few extra done per hour? Bet they never thought we would be discussing this 30-odd years later.............

                Iwill take some pics this weekend and try to upload them onto the Forum for you.

                Ihave not done this before so am not sure how easy it is to do.

                Apologies for not responding sooner, but i was away last weekend taking part in the Club Triumph RBRR 2010 run. we were one of three stags that made the start and all three of us finished the event.

                That and catching up with work since we got back have prevented me from finding time and daylight.

                Hopefully i will get chance on Saturday.

                  I can take any size files.

                  Take them as hi-res as you can. 1Mb+ is best, but 500k is just survivable.

                      Chassis number LD242.O here...no reason to doubt provenance of cam covers - deffo Mk1 - three pronged oil cap.

                      Both stamped the same. Passenger side correct (i.e NOT as DJT's picture), Driver's side upside down.

                      Never noticed before ...
