All of us here are car fans and will undertsand the need to connect with a car.

Sometimes that just doesn't happen - for lots of reasons - and the best thing is to sell and move on. That was how I was with my Tiger Cat.

I hope you win the hardtop and that, with or without it, you do fall in love with the Stag

Wise words Chris. I hadn't even driven a Stag when I bought mine from an advert in the Stag mag, and drove from Leeds to Bury St Edmunds with my local coordinator and a trailer to collect it, after viewing it the previous weekend.
He commented to me on the way down - If you haven't ever driven one, I hope you like it!!.
Fortunately it was love at first sight, and as you rightly say, when the are "on song" there is nothing better.

the more i drive mine the more i enjoy it, just wish the boss would let me use it as a company car that would be even better, i did go through a patch, sell it it's a pain, but really what else could i have? i cant think of another i would want as much not even an e type. Now i love it to bits and it will cost me a small fortune but hey, a night out costs 30 to 50 quid now, swimbo likes it, think shes a bit of a poser :shock::shock:

well picked my car up today from the garage that was fitting the new roof
got it done on insurance the quote was for £950!!!

Any how I;m happy with the job they have done, it makes a change to be able to see out of a clear rear plastic screen

anyway no more gaffa tape on the car can;t wait to give it a clean at the weekend

I brought mine as a very unfinished project it took me two years to put back together and i had to build a new garage as original was way too small.
never driven a stag untill i took it for its first mot earlier this year still have the biggest grin on my face
love it drive it every oppitunity i get.
