I sold my last stag for £1560 which was in similar condition although this photo doesn't show the gaping holes in the front and rear wings!:?
    hi Stu

may be his partner has said'when you getting rid of that heap of cr*p in the garage' which he can truthfully reply 'well you know i tried to sell it on ebay!!'.

just like bigj and his invisible motor his mates think he just polished too hard!!

Graham and I both popped down to see this car today, and spent some time with Pat and his lovely family - we both agree thiscould berather a nice car without too much work - I think we could both say we were very surprised!

I would have haggled a price on the spot if I hadn't got more respect for my goolies and the unspeakable wrath SWMBO would have wreaked upon them:shock:for coming home with yet another car.......

I don't think Pat will have too much of a problem shifting this car - as is, without running it (battery U/S but turnsnicely with a spanner on the PAS pulley bolt and the carbs are p***ing fuel)I think I would have gone to £2.5k.....

Agree with Russ on all points and a good chat was had by everyone as well. If you dont mind risk, this could be a good car for someone.

The fact that it is tax exempt appeals to me, though I dont know how mrs b would be with the inevitable teething problems of getting a car that has been laid-up, working 100% again. My current stag had a similar lay-up before I got it but wasnt as freshas this one.

Big thanks to Graham and Russ who visited today. Consensus of opinion so far seems to be that I have a tough choice :P. Spend money on it and then have a very good car to sell or cut and run. It seems that my decription didn't really do the car justice but I was just trying to be honest. Nick has kindly offered to visit on Tuesday and another opinion might help me to decide what to do. Thanks again to Graham and Russ and good on Russ for getting his own lovely green Stag out for the day.

Wow it's a shame there's no picture as I would love to see what a £700k Stag looks like and compare it to my £5000 stag!!!
