For the backrest alone you get 2 side bolsters, 2 main bits for the middle, a top bit and some thin foam that I assume goes around the edge.- We will have to see if my wife was right !

quick update for you - I have done the driver's backrest with all new foams. It is a fiddly job and I would say allow plenty of time! I am quite pleased with the result but the foams do need a bit of trimming and refitting the cover is quite a job as well. I have done the seats in a MGB in the past but these are a lot more difficult.

There are various tips on here in different threads from Chris (VMad) if you do a search and these are very helpful (thanks Chris). So it can be done OK but I would say allow plenty of time (and then double it) if you have not done one before.

yes it's easy but when I did the headrests recently I had to cut the "ears" of (appr. 4-5 mm) to get a good fit. Without that the Aldridge foam was extremely compressed in the fabric cover and seemed to cack the seams.

Did you have the same experience or are the covers/foams different?

Seemed quite tight but to be honest I just fitted the headrest foams without trimming them - hopefully they will be ok ! Better than the old ones anyway
