Stuart good point, I fitted goodridge brake hoses in the spring of this year and saw a sinificant improvement, coupled with the master cylinder and 1000 mile pads.
You've probably hit the nail on the head mate

Not used Green Stuff pads but I can say that both Mintex and Lockheed are excellent with very little dustover the cheap alternatives on offer. GS are significantly more expensive....

However I did also fit new master cylinder around the same time.
I was happy that my brakes seemed tip top considering that I had used block standard parts from J.P.

Hi Mike, I couldn't agree more, but Green Stuff are better. Martin.

I am not particularly bothered about the brake dust with any pads. I owuld rather have sharp brakes and lots of dust. I am more interested in the fact as to whether they give the car / brakes more bite as they imply?

Yeh Dave, trying to keep mine to 3 items at the moment, but as usual, you always see things and buy that you had no intention of getting.

I know Wards won't, Mick reckons it's too expensive, which seems a shame, always good to keep the name in the public eye ! There seems to be a good number though. Martin.

I have Lockheed pads fitted. Not much dust and they work well. My MOT tester also commented that the Stag had better brakes than many modern cars do.
Drive a Stag every day... it's wonderful!
