Not that I want to worry you,
I changed one on my spitfire a few years ago, and it sheared off flush with the block, easy to sort on that, nice comfy seat on the tyre and acres of room.
God help you if that happens on the stag.

That's not a prob Steve - one bolt and the housing comes off and you can do it on the bench....

Just be careful screwing the switch, or t-piece, back into the cover. The taper thread can split the alloy casting. BTDT
