    I can see its possible to fit an MSD module but what about the pick up? I dont suppose they make a pickup that fits the stag although it shouldnt be diffcult to adapt a similar one. Some racing regulations may even require the stag points to be kept? Maybe Tony can enlighten us?

      You can trigger an MSD from points, and once you have reduced the current the points are switching, they tend to last a deal longer. And you only use one set, so all the dual-points issues go away. Or there is probably a way to magic up a magnetic pickup setup inside a Stag distributor.

      As for becoming a human HT output analyser, many thanks for your kind offer Chris, but I think I will offer high resistance to that idea this time. lol

            So how badly did the luminition optical do? I'm tracing some irregular running at the moment and was wondering if this was a reliable unit or not. Mike
