The O for Overdrive would be on the Commission Number, not the engine number. The only engine number suffix that resembles NE is HE which stands for High compression Engine. I suggest that the O is actually a 0 and the last digit of the engine number. Had the engine been fitted with a BW35 gearbox the number would end in HEBW.
