    I have treated my water damage with oxalic acid and so far the results are fantastic , i will post a picture later once the second coat has dried !

      Hi Edd, where did you buy it ? is it concentrated or pre mixed. I haven't heard that name since I left school, I recall it was a good rust remover as well. Martin.

        I have used a product called Liberon wood bleacher , it comes ready to use so no boiling hot crystals to worry about , i have treated the black area and give the two parts one coat as the gear shift suround also had black spot , again they are all gone !
        I want to keep my original dash as i love it , plus if i buy any more parts i could end up with another car
        Next stage is the poly coating which i am going to look at old forums as i noticed some good ideas from !
        I will make a not of how many applications i use for when i treat the rest of the dash , glove box etc
        Any questions from those wanting to try this then feel free to ask !

              Christ, I think I may end up keeping my old dash set so as to experiment .
