Water Pump

Just not to feel left out, last week I left my glasses in the boot on top of the spare then put all the boards and stuff back. and on two other occasions left them in the engine bay then spent forever looking all over the place for them finally my wife said "have you looked in your car" DUH

Don't get me started on glasses Stuart, they are all over the house, in my van, in the stag, on my head, wifes hand bag 6 pairs in there on the last count, we are wilco's best x2 and x2.5 reading glasses customers.
We have glasses everywhere.... except... in a restaurant yesterday in Aldeburgh Suffolk, what a pair of pillocks we must have looked, i lost my pair, trout left hers in the other bag in the car, neither of us could read the menu and both ended up guessing liver and bacon yum yum, I suppose we could have asked the waiter but i think he was a Russian or something, so that would have confused matters even more, the conversation would probably have sounded something like " Excuse me matey whats that say there on the menu" .... "nishnee da tovarich liverski da porkerbaconov yumski yumski " Give me strength ...Steve

Ah ha, maybe we've solved your water pump quandry. You weren't wearing them when you did the job and that was, in fact, the cylinder block that you were banging six colours of s**t out of LOL

Yes i did wear my glasses Julian the only time i took them off was when i looked at the scratch that i repaired it looked better like that.
You have point with the engine block, perhaps the pump was not meant to go that low in the block.
I can hit clay pidgeons travelling 40mph at 45 yards without glasses but i cant see a damn thing at 12 inches so bloody annoying and i hate wearing glasses, moans over, suns out going out in the stag if i can find the keyhole...Steve
