not sure what your plans are for your trip but check if there is anything on in the Mall. We watched the start of the Cycling then wandered up to Trafalgar Square. Fantastic atmosphere.
Also, in Hyde Park, there is some form of screen set-up. We met some people heading over there to watch. ALso, the Womens Triatholon is being held there next Saturday (4th) and you can pre-book tickets for the Screen in the park which get you into the park in the event that it reaches capacity. At £3.50 for all 4 people, that seems like a good contingency plan to me!
Thanks Graham, yes we plan to check out the BT London live screens at Hyde Park and Victoria Park. Womens triathlon sounds exciting, we will have to see if we can get to Hyde Park Saturday. Maybe women's marathon too.
