I was referring to the one you knocked out at Brands.

        Hi MandM,

Have a look at one of my threads from August I think it was (it was called Burbling again......but?). It sounds similar to my experience perhaps?

I would add that my noise appeared after I had new discs and pads fitted. In my case looking back there was an issue getting the near side splash guard and caliper lined up correctly. I think when the new discs were fitted one of the caliper bolts had "pushed" part of the splash guard through the hole and was rubbing somehow. It created a sort of tang/slither of steel and had to be removed. Re-assembly after that was straightforward. I remember the near side was a right sod to get back in and only after a lengthy period messing about did we notice what was wrong. When it was all assembled and new bearings fitted the noise had gone. Unfortunately that means it was either the splash guard issue, or the bearing. Since you have new bearings, I'd check the splash guard first but I'm no expert. Hope that helps.

        Matt.

Swinging in car parks - can't you get arrested for that?

Probably dust cover hitting the strut or droplink and pressing onto disc. Try putting a little blue tack ontonstrut / dropling and see if you get an impression from the backplate left after re creating problem. If it is that, don't turn in so hard or just live with it.
