I got the same Smiths gauge with the white plastic / nylon pipe. After reading a post on here about someone who had a fire following a melted oil pressure pipe on the manifold, I got it changed for a braided one. Not had any brake light issues.
Just a thought. Where in the engine bay do your pipes connect all you TV8 boys? Just that my RV8 (I know - wrong engine) has its connection at the front, and I don't know whether the pipe will be the same length.
Yes that would be a problem. The TV8 take off is at the rear of the engine on the drivers side.
Thanks, I thought I'd better check. Looks like I'll need a longer pipe then. Mine is front of engine, driver's side. I'll try to measure it this weekend when I'm back home.
