Good question. Yes, it is an active airfield by with light aircraft.
This clause does not apply to the Club Scheme so cant answer for another insurer. So if you are with RH, there are no issues
What I can tell you Ian is that there is a 60 foot margin imposed by the airfield management for safety and we are no on the landing path but parallel to the run way.

I can remember when I was "no but lad" helping my dad do the collecting and counting for the RAFA wings appeal, they used to produce a special magazine and this year in particular there was an article on the TSR2.... Wow to a lad of 10 this was something else I used to take it to bed with me to read and re read what a shame it never went into service I under stand it spent its life at Boscombe Down being bounced on its under carriage until it broke then it was scrapped. There is still the shell of one at Duxford.
