Hi Stuart

makes my gripes in the wallet dept seem minor.

The guy I bought my Stag from claims that the car is a pale TOPAZ. talking to Faversham Classics who did the paint job years ago it was the standard ICI colour that they used.

Who knows I like it so who cares. The hard top which wasn't renovated is a different shade though. it hasn't seen much sun over the years so not surprising its faded differently.

Phil just for the record in case you need paint at any time there's only one shade of Topaze number 84 which only Triumph used!:?

How the other sprayer got it wrong is beyond Shaun (sprayer) as it only has one shade TOPAZE 84!:?

I'm sure we will find a way of doing the job for a resonable amount then possibly redo the side when I have another £1500 saved up!:shock:

Hi Stu. Sorry to hear of complications. This time next year this will be forgotten and you will still be enjoying the warm glow of tangerine .

Getting the correct colourdepends on the paint mixergetting his measurements right though to achieve the desired British Standard shade. Topaz 84 won't come as a 'standard' paint. It will be made from a mix of base colours by weight:
