First proper outing and I end up being in a classic car show....sort of! Pics inside
Thanks very much. A bucket of polish and a sunny day does help!
I use a Bosscreen deflector and have found it to be really good. I took the tonneau cover off because people kept asking if they could see the back seats.
The chap next to me had his interior re-trimmed at Favershams so I assume they did the back seat headrests. He did say that they are not removable which would make it tricky using a wind deflector/tonneau cover set up.
Richard
when i did head rest to the back seat on mine,i welded a box section in, a bit like the front seat mech, then had the seats trimmed, i'm pritty sure the guy who does the trimming for favershams is S E trimmers,i got the idea from him when looking at his work, only difference on my set up is i can take the head rest out if i need to
Thank you for posting the photos. Does the car actually look as good as presented in the book?
Regards
Gerd
Hi Gerd, I know that photos can hide paintwork defects etc, but I would say that this Stag is 99% as good as it seems from the photos in the book. Hope that makes sense! I noticed just 2 or 3 small areas where the paint was not quite perfect, but only minor. It is certainly the best Stag that I have ever seen!!!
There is another photo below and if you zoom into the panel infront of the bonnet, near to where it meets the wing, you should see that the paint around the swage line/curve is a little irregular. This was probably the most noticable one.
