black in post to the black on the unit on the right in picture
the black pair on the left in the picture into the green and orange cable

Dave,
Having a long instilled aversion to flashing red lights, I found the low fuel warning very distracting. This is magnified by the fact that I don't use petrol and only want to carry 1/4 tank, the excess weight is pointless so the light flashes all too often. I 'm capable for reading the gauge now and then, but I don't have to pay as much attention to it as it never moves. I disconnected the low fuel warning at the sender end just for now.
I like the idea of the delay and will keep that in mind for the future. Thanks to all making the information available.
Regards

I thought it would be easier to mark on the picture which cable goes where so using the original labelling from Julians thread we have
delay markings.jpg
mine came with different coloured wires but the order is the same.
