Hi Guys
An update on my rebuild, now back from holiday and have been struggling to get two front wings fitted. I used the ratchet straps across the wings suggested earlier and have been able to get about 4.5 mm gap either side. The wings are now welded in place but I am still working on front panel, I have reduced width to get it between wings but it does not match the profile at the front of the bonnet. I have cut the rear flange off and reshaped panel to correct profile and now need to fit new flange. It seems that I need to leave a 5mm plus gap between bonnet and front panel to make sure the bonnet does not catch the front panel as it is opened. Still need to make some adjustments to the front valence to get it between wings prior to fitting. Thanks for all the help, I will cover it in copy I am now writing that will probably be published in Classics Monthly edition 210
