Really, you need the door trims, B post and rear cubby panels in the same material to match.

I must say those pictures look great if the seats came in black you could retain the rest if price were an issue.

I just received the color leather samples. Unfortunately the the tan is quite different from the Stag tan so I won't be proceeding. Leather looks and feels nice, but what do I know about leather!

Not sure if those are promotional photos but I'm not overwhelmed by them. The fit around the headrests seems poor, the rear seat back is average, there's a join in the middle of the seat rear squab front. Of course some of this may be down to the installer not the product. Depending on how how they're priced I might be being a bit harsh.

Whenever I see a car re-trimmed in leather or vinyl the fit is never quite as good as the factory originals.
Of course because it is new it gives it the "wow" factor, but when you then look closely there always seem to be creases in the wrong place or a saggy bit..
The headrests in fairness look like they needed a bit more foam stuffing to bulk them out..but I know what you mean..

As with a lot of the parts for the Stag(mechanical, chrome and trim) there is usually a compromise, but I guess we should be grateful that people are still prepared to produce them..

I think there's a difference between re-trimming using kits/trimming sets and using the services of a professional trimmer/upholsterer. Much depends on the foams and the seat furniture itself, and that may be the case with the photos that Nick refers to. I'd suggest that the finish on the photos is pretty good if it is just a case of whipping off the old vinyl seat covers and putting on the new ones. If you want perfection (or as close as you can get) then you are looking at having the seats re-built by hand - diaphragm, webbing, frame, foams and leather cut to fit. Of course, the other difference is price. When I had my car re-trimmed it cost £3,600 but I'm delighted with the finish http://maddesthouse.wordpress.com/ca.../triumph-stag/. I could have gone the re-trim kit route and though it would have been cheaper, it would have been a compromise on colour, leather and probably finish. I was also told by several trimmers that the kits often had to be modified to fit properly. Incidentally on the cost point, I note that Rimmers quote £3,625 for a leather kit which makes the Trim Technik offer seems like a pretty good deal. You pays your money and you takes your chances...

The best way, apparently, to get that nice leather smell is to put a damp chamois leather under a seat. Can't say I've tried it though............

Good idea then you can use the same cloth to clear your misted up windows due to the damp cloth

                        Absolutely !

Richard's interior looks fabulous however I could never justify spending that much on my car.

I've often thought about tidying up my interior and, if I were to buy new Ambla covers, then I could well be spending almost the same as these Trim Technik covers so, on a cost/result basis I am very interested in them. It seems to me that they represent excellent value for money.

                        Cheers

I totally agree Julian. Based on the evidence of the pictures, and the fact that Rimmers Bros. equivalent cost £3,625, it looks like a great deal. You might have to look at some foams as well though of course...
