Yes, I got home OK Phil, thanks. Still none the wiser yet as to the cause of my header tank pressurising and spewing out coolant, or why my fan temperature sensor has failed - it worked alright yesterday. I must be jinxed when it comes to visiting Brooklands. The last time was with my white Stag and that overheated on the way up due to water pump/jack shaft gear wear and I went home on a transporter

At least the ZF performed well. 300 miles on 3/4 of a tank! I'll fill up tomorrow and work out the precise MPG, but it's got to be 30+
