Hi, Just out of interest anyone know of the most powerful Triumph Stag on the road today? What engine does it have and what is the power output? I once heard that Brighton Stags had the most powerful but I am sure there must be somevery high powered ones around these days especially with some of the light weight V8swith new technology. Spin.

There was a heavitly modified Stag on here a while back but all of the images were links to ebay and are no longer active. The Name Richard Lane seems to crop up frequently for mega high powered Stags. This was the best I could find - it is a small pic on the bottom left hand side of the page: http://www.broquet.co.uk/picture_gallery.htm . It states 585 BHP Chevy V8. Is that quick enough for you?

 Regards

What's left of Richard Lane's website appears to be here:

He worked on my Stag back in 2004. A truly fascinating guy to spend a few hours with!

I thinkRichard LanesStag had an older small block cast iron chevy motor. It is a wonder no one has yet put the new all alloy 5.7LLS1 chevy in a stag. Would potentially get more than 585BHP! But hey even 300BHP would be nice Spin Spin
