        Hi guys

fitted my set of Datsun drive shaft over the winter and a local company made a set of hybrid uj's for me (around £28 per UJ), they also can make up std stag drive shafts with coated splines if you need.

Give them a ring and ask for Andrew (No financial connection just a very satisfied customer) if you remind him of the shaft he made for me i am sure he can help you out.

They do really make a difference no more clonk when engaging drive or reverse and has made the rear drive very taught, i also upgraded the diff to a 3:46 from a 2000 Estate and the rev's are just over 3,000 at 70mph

          Hello IanA

          Greg Tunstall on 07 3821 0622 or email mmrgregt@bigpond.net.au

I have to say i have not been in touch yet myself..... but Greg is amazing in that he remembers all Stag's he has slapped a spanner over or even given surgery over the phone.

Keep us posted on your outcome because it is a project i would love to do but just at the minute i need to finish the tarting up of the interior that is dragging on and on due to lack of time. Then once the interior is done the hood is next and Raoul if your reading this i need some tips!!!

I will post some piccies as soon as i can of interior its beginning to look like it should

Anybody know the part number and or aUK supplier of the Datsun UJs.

Ivejust fitted my shaftsand Stag hubs togetherbut afterremoving a previously fitted new Datsun UJ from the Stag diff flange (to allow me to get a better paint finish :? ) the UJ now feels a bit tighter than the others soI would rather replace it than risk fitting it to the car and finding out its not right.

                Hi Dave

If you phone Andrew at Bar Propshafts he will be able to give you the part number, they were pretty standard parts and used on a number of vehicles.

                    Hi Dave

When I bought my Datsun shafts from Tony who sometimes is on the forum, he told me the correct UJ's were GUM29. I believe from Kevin's list they would be QL11009 but check it first.

Thanks for the info guys, have used Speedys in the past forRootes parts and always found them excellent on price and delivery, never thought about them doing Jap parts though.
