Mark Shutt - if you are still around could you let me have a picture of your hardtop stand as I want to build one. Has anyone else built a wooden one ?

unlikely, as Mark sold his Stag a couple of years ago and is no longer a member

Decided Stag ownership is just not for me, loved the car but needs must and I've decided to sell so here's a few details about my car.. had a full body rebuild 11years ago and still looks mint as was done right and tons of waxoye was injected everywhere! underneath was stone chipped and painted.

since my ownership I have rebuilt the top of the engine inc timing chains and head work then fully detailed the engine compartment to show standard. I have stripped and rebuilt the rear suspension, done the rear diff strethening mod then had it all powder coated and new bushes/bearings/gaskets etc.. all new brakes etc.. gearbox has new inhibitor switch fitted and new gaskets/seals. interior is immaculate and has had front seats recovered/refoamed. comes with fully refurbished hardtop (new headlining/seals etc..). has newly fitted stainless bumpers too so all the brightwork looks the business! has Boss screan/covers too. got a massive potfolio of everthing it's had spent on it.

runs very well and engine benefits from a header tank and uprated radiator and also Lumition so very reliable.

doesn't really want for anything, MOT until june 2016, tax runs out end of September and will most likely get sorned as don't run it in winter/bad weather.

realistically looking for £13k, dealers would want £18k+!! if it doesn't sell now I'll will wait until next spring and sell for more...

please note, the below pic is an older pic and the now have the correct rear wing badge fitted!

Crazy cheap price for marks stag. Why do owners under value their own cars just for others to profit. Thats now 20 k plus car. I have toyed with selling mine for a multitude of reasons.

I think one of our Worcester member bought it, I may be wrong but if it is it’s not been re sold but he’s keeping it.
