Went to the Haynes Museum not realising there was a Triumph day so was delighted, especially seeing so many Stags. Spoke to the owner of a Tahiti Blue model that's been beautifully restored - if you're here I don't know your name sorry. I hadn't seen Tahiti Blue in the flesh before and really liked the colour. Feeling nervous about our car now though, we ordered Mimosa Yellow using the correct code and it came back as 'Rover Mimosa Yellow' but it looks different to the Mimosa Stags at the show so I think maybe we'll just have a 'yellow' Stag.

Sorry we didn't meet yesterday. The cars in your first photo belong to Devon Area members. The Mimosa one belongs to club archivist Derek Athey and is still sporting much of its original paint. The one just visible in the left corner belongs to Peter Clarke and is Inca. Just visible the other side of the two white Stags is another local car which was originally Saffron, but is now AA yellow! I kid you not. The owners wanted something slightly different and the colour was scanned from their AA membership card.My car was just a bit further along with the St George flag.

Hi Dave, shame I missed you. We had a good look at your Stag and very nice it was too, if I'd known it was yours I'd have introduced myself. If you saw an exceptionally handsome bloke in a wheelchair with a minder either side, that was me. I'm looking forward to the day I'll be able to attend similar events in the Stag.

Only saw an S1 landy and a 50's open wheel Healey (going like the clappers) on my jaunt up Whinlatter, Birker Fell & Wrynose. Interestingly I was badly held up on Wrynose by a new Jag F type - just way too wide, he kept stopping on every corner !
