Regret I still dont get what a post of a nice picture of your car with no comment had to to do with the Op's topic/problem?
Could make other comments but wont in interests of solving this problem
(BTW in reply to an earlier poster I was referring to the 427 cu.in. mid sixties Ford Galaxies raced in saloon car racing against the MkII Jags and Lotus Cortinas at Brands Hatch and elsewhere.)

Sorry to say H but it appears to me that you are trying to impose your will on how/what people post again. As said before, if you don't like it, don't read it. What's the point in causing all this friction
I have likes / dislikes on here so I just ignore some threads and don't reply to them or offer any assistance. Personally my biggest problem on here are posters that come on, ask a question, get loads of help and advice and just disappear. It still happens now and again and a few of us refer to them as members of the DST club
Anyway, as some have already said. lets see yours then, or is it as mysterious and elusive as your name

Hey stop going off topic you'll get told off. Jeffs first picture for anyone who actually knows the stag body clearly shows the front seams flat. It's another problem area and very useful seeing how good it looks.

As I'm a relatively new stag owner (2 years) now and have been on and off the forum for advice and help I can only have to say that all in all you all have helped me fantastically.
Thank you all for your advice on the rain gutter, photos included they have been a real help.
Just try searching the web to find a photo of the area we have been discussing? I couldn't find one with enough quality to see, so the advice is invaluable if you don't get the chance to go to a meet very often.
O and yes it another yellow stag in Worcestershire lol.

My daughter completely fell out of love with her '59-plate Grand C4 Picasso earlier this year; it broke down 4 times and cost her a fortune. It has now been replaced with a Seat Altea XL.Dave

Thank you for your honest comments, a thank you is always well received by all.
Sorry your thread went off on a tangent, not my fault and not what I intended. I posted a picture I had on file on my I pad as away from home and thought it may help rather than nothing as it does display the filled in seams at the front, the same as my A post seams as I explained in my post, plus we all like to look at pictures of our cars anyway, well those of us who have them.
I belong to other car forums and a moderator on another forum and I can honestly say this is the best for qualified, experienced advice (some on here cannot wait to offer their help and only too glad to do so) along with some fun thrown in, unfortunately there is always one that tries to spoil things for no apparent reason but that's the same in all walks of life and best to try to ignore them but sometimes it's not that easy .
I guarantee you can ask any question on this forum and you will get an answer, some sarcastic but that what makes this forum 'not boring' and unlike others.
Since I have been a member of this forum a few silly members and I have substituted with the word silly, have come and gone but the true and honest ones stay, it's not difficult to see who they are.
Have you checked out Edd's thread? I am sure you have, he has really detailed the area you are concerned about.
Any questions at all about anything, keep posting.

So I too would like to give thanks for the advice and patience that I have received here. I don't have a huge lot to contribute, but whenever I can I will. This has been a very unhappy thread and made for unpleasant reading. Here's to happier and tolerant times.
As one who likes to think I help others I would like to add that everyone who post something is contributing in some way or form so disagree with what you say ("I don't have a lot to contribute") you do, the very fact that you post in good humor is what makes this forum work. I'm always interested to read the various off topic post as we all may learn something new.
It's just a shame that some try to push their morals, values or whatever rather than just accept we are all different.

I don't really understand why this thread went off topic in the way that it did, but it's been one which the Moderstors were watching even before the reported post.
Good to see it returning back on point now.

I have also been there and got the T shirt. In my latter working years I chose to forego the BMW 5 series or Audi A6 etc. as choice of company car. I had 2 Espaces interspersed with a Synergie and finally a C8 . At that time my 2 youngest sons were in their early to latter teens and were into all sorts of sporting activities which meant that we not only had to carry them but perhaps 2 or 3 others as well or support them over long distance endurance events notably the 125 mile Devizes to Westminster marathon canoe race. We also found that in those years their (and our) prefered holiday destination was with Eurocamp at a destination just south of Bordeaux on a lake with varied water sports facilities (sailing, windsurfing, canoeing etc.) and surfing beaches only 15 mins away. There was also a very good "teen scene" disco, midnight beer and barbi on the beach etc. So in addition to normal luggage we carried all sorts of kit - surf boards, windsurfers on the roof, wet/dry suits, 4 bikes etc.etc.
I also found that when driving long distances on business in the MPV's I arrived less tired and more relaxed, due I think to the clearer view from the higher seating position in fast moving heavy traffic situations
