        Then it all gets complicated when the triangles have angles for sides as well. Then you get Haversines, Cotangents, etc. Spherical Trigonometry, the basis for 'proper' navigation (pre SatNav).... Ooh Arr!

                You can Change the formulas around by substitution ,because of the relationships between the factors ,but my napiers bones are creaking this morning!

                      I thought it was Godfrey & Siddons? I remember my British Thornton Slide Rule which cost my mum £3.17/6d. Three weeks later I was chucked out of physics class.
