SU fuel pump.

just taken the pump off and it looks fairly new, the points were sooted up but not pitted and have cleaned up well. The pump is made in Germany by HARDI, any body heard of them and are they any good, cheers

The Hardi one that was failing on my car was about 7 years old and started to not be able to meet the fueling demands of the engine under certain circumstances.

I've got a Hardi pump on my car, a Quinton Hazell boxed part, I had a load of grief when I first got it as it seemed like it was pumping at a higher pressure and would cause the carbs to overflow but the last few years it has behaved itself (touching wood) but when it plays up again I will go down the LD route.
