wow this thread really went off at a tangent!
Back to business?
I do completely agree with Ian (milothedog). Besides, there were a couple of relevant posts to start with from Dave and myself but johnnythespider hasn't commented on them at all. I guess you could say that the business has been done but people are now just messing about after work
Hi - I agree that off topic is more amusing but did have to double read the post again to work out why we were talking about laybys and grab handles!
Began to sound like one of those late night rendezvous that you hear about, with a car in the car park and groups of onlookers - sorry that actually sounds like a car club meeting in the winter time.
Anyway, the hard top little rubber feet are retracted all the way in, so don't even touch the body or tonneau cover. The seals seem quite soft as well. Maybe I just fitted it badly. The lockdown on the sides (not the window ones) on one side it really tough to do up. It appears to be seating properly but maybe lowering the tonneau cover a tad might sort it.
Not sure I can be bothered given that the car is now garaged and I would loose the roof down winter breeze feeling if I put the hard top on.
Anyway, spin the bottle and see where we go off to again.
