Upgraded my polished wolfies with a black insert. Looks way better I think. And put a TR6 spoiler on. It works very well.

Not sure if the screen is saveable as damage is near the edge under passenger side wiper, maybe less hassle than replacing? having seen others with problems using companies linked through insurance when replacing screens.

While winter is here, took the opportunity to investigate carb temp compensators as suspected they my be related to hot start issues. (as mentioned on this forum previously, thank you). The bimetal strips were quite distorted and not opening 250 deg F or more. So stripped them down, flatted the bimetal strips and reset them to open at 115 deg F using a hot air gun and infrared pointy ready thing. Waiting for winter to pass to see if this improves things....

I locked mine in the garage and flew to Barcelona courtesy of easyJet.

I'm very disappointed at having to cancel the trip to Monaco via Barcelona in the Stag but since the differential expert in Dorset turned out to be not an expert I wouldn't be happy using the car for a three-thousand mile jaunt. Maybe next year after the CT ten countries run by which time I hope to have the differential sorted out.

I bought a recon diff from JP last year fitted with a new crown wheel and pinion - it seems fine, no whining at all....

Maybe have a word with them..?

280 mile weekend, drove down to Stowmarket and Ipswich, for a non-Stag car show. Great run back home last night, top down with wind deflector up. About 30 miles on the A14 continously at the national speed limit (ahem), the Stag didn't miss a beat.

I saw two other Stags in convoy going East on the other carriageway.

Took mine to the body shop for new door skins and removal of rust and replacing with new metal repainted etc. Fun drive from Wareham to Hamworthy overtaking a few modern cars on the dual carriageway.
Had to go to Cock & Bottle meet with a modern. Two Stags present. Yellow and orange. Nice but not as nice as Java green!
