Attended a Classic Car Show at Exmouth today, along with several other Stags, a Dolomite, Vitesse convertible and TR7 convertible. Left early due to the rain clouds approaching over the Haldon Hills....

Haven't used the Stsg since June and being that the Belgium weekend is coming up, thought it best to give her a spin and boy have I missed driving it. Went across country and stopped for cake and a cuppa, walk along the river and then back for lunch and then a slow run home. She ran so well, can't wait to use her on a couple of weeks time 😃👍Yellow Rules OK

Radiator has to come out as there's no room to change the belt with it in place and the belt as made a nice circular impression in the radiator so it's off to be re-cored.

"Mainly today" I bought my first Stag and joined the SOC! Please meet the purple people eater - not very original I know. I would be interested in chatting with any previous owners. 3.0 Man OD, SS exhaust system. It needs some tlc seemingly good body and engine, but a little unloved. The paint is very flat and has some touch-ins on local scratches. It has the standard petrol perfume when you open the boot lid and has had the Lucas fuel pump replaced with Bosch unit.
There are a couple of tears in the drivers seat, can any one recommend the best place for seat covers and new foam squabs, I can do the work myself.
