Date...Perhaps Mon 15th Dec? or Wed 17th?

Meeting point = Ace Cafe (just off the Norf circular)
Time I guess 8 PM ish for the traffic to be lighter..

Route: A40 into central London, over the Edgware rd flyover along
the Marylebone high rd then turn right onto Portland place, towards the centre and past BBC broadcasting house. Cross over the lights at Oxford St and down Regent St (and its lights) to Piccadilly. At Piccadilly, left up Shaftsbury avenue.
Turn right and head down Charing cross road to Trafalgar Square.

Under Admiltary Arch and up the Mall to Bucking ham Palace.
Past the Palace take a left to Victoria, then up Victoria St towards
Parliament Square.
Head towards Westminster bridge and cross over towards Waterloo
and take a left turn opposite the Station for a stop (Stop 1) in view of the
London eye... - "Hot toddie stop - non alocholic!"
Good photo opportunity this spot.

Then onwards towards and up to Waterloo Br (take in the views as we cross back over) towards the Aldwych. Round the Aldwych and down Fleet St towards St Pauls Catherdral (Stop 2)
Good photo opportunity here with it being the Season of goodwill

Final leg of the journey from St Pauls and up Cannon St towards London Bridge where we again cross the river (south) past the London dungeon and towards Tower Bridge which we cross (back Norf!!!) and then take a left and left along lower Thames street / Victoria embankment and turn right at Temple place back up to the Aldwych.... Turn onto Drury lane and then left towards our final Stop (stop 3) a good photo opportunity outside Covent Garden...

So thats the plan...

I guess if anybody wants to this could / should be set up as a new thread.. ..

Looking at the social diary, then the only way we could raise the tone of this trip by having a Java car amongst it (mine of course), it would have to be the Monday...... one of the probs of having young kids........

Evening All...

I think Monday is the date then! -

Just one thing, never done the knowledge but did live in London for 10 years!

Not sure what is going on at the Ace Cafe on Monday 15th Dec but I guess we can
find out off their web page when the December diary is published!

I think an 8.45 ish KO from the Ace will give us time to catch our breaths before our run
up the A40 (always enjoy this raod into central London) and into the West End.

Just working out this
7 Stags so far?

Do we need walkie talkies for the tail end Charlie?
Bound to get stuck at a few red lights as we cruise the streets of London...

No conjestion charge at this time either.

Do we need to start a new thread I'm a bit new to this and just fancied / thought
this might be a bit of fun...
