    DJT - thanks for your reply. If they are going to work with my dimmer then I will swap to LED's and run with the warm white ones. And have x6 in a pack makes more sense than the x4 in the green LED's earlier in the post.

    My main issue with swapping over to LED's is that the dimmer would stop working so great to hear that is not an issue. While not a terribly useful feature on the stag its great to have everything working as it should.

      Al, Michelle doesn't look at the dash so no need to adjust the brightness, how she's got a clean license is beyond me!

        Thanks for the replies. Just thought I would close off this thread with an update….

        As recommended by DJT I fitted the warm white versions: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6x-WARM-WH...0AAOSweW5VMtlU

        These work really well (much more bright than the old bulbs) and they also work with the dimmer. The old bulbs were really battling - some were all black in the glass and others were not providing good continuity on the multi meter.
