        For mine I applied masking tape to the area and carefully drilled a hole at each end of the size slots I wanted and used a jigsaw and file to finish.

          Based on my experience drilling perspex for control panels many years ago, make sure your drill bits are in very good condition to reduce the likliehood of splits. From memory, I used a pilot hole before the big bit and went in with a reasonably high speed on the drill. Support the piece firmly.

            Rimmers Wind Deflector problem.

            Thanks for the advise everyone - Slots now cut and deflector doesn't bang any more - Rimmers can deem off. - they did however offer me a full refund!
