Hi Ian, Valid comment although does that notapply to any potential purchase, when do Idecide if I keep thinking a better one may turn up at a later date. I will not be rushed into any purchase, I will know my Car when I see it. Maybe this weekend ?. Having a look at a couple of Stags tomorrow ( Saturday 29th ), have already viewed a couple of cars. Maybe I will findmy Stag tomorrow, maybe not.

Fair point but there was more wrong with it than either of us (Buyer & seller) were expecting at MOT a fortnight later:shock:

I bought mine without looking at another stag (or underneath!) but it did come recommended. I believe in gut instinct and when you have a gut like I do, that serves you well

From my personnal experience I suggest yu make sure you take a good lamp and magnet with you to allow you to check for rot on the underneath. Floorpans, outriggers, arches, chassis legs, sills all need a good poke. BeVERY wary if the car has been freshly undersealed:shock:
