Thats what I love about old cars .. so simple to play with anything fits with a bit of persuasion.. try doing what we are doing on a 21st century car .. I feel sorry for the kids of today .. in 40 years time they wont know where to start on their classics from their childhood

Hopefully, by then it will all be about reproducing the ECUs and another cottage industry will emerge.

If you find a 2010 on Toyota Prius donor, the steering and the aircon are electric.

New rack fitted, feels vastly different to the very vague feeling on the last one which had no self centre feel about it. Any way i now have a shiny new Mot and a much better feel to the steering and no pas fluid hanging of the bottom of the car.
              cheers for your input.

Where did you get the rack from Steve, mine isn't self centering and feels a bit vague so replacement may be on the cards.

Check your tracking first, too much toe in causes the steering to wander.
