That is straight out of the David Brent book of man management. Unbelievable, but they[1] must have wanted rid so that was used as an excuse?

Russ, I have never met you or had much need of direct input from you, but as a relative novice mechanic, I have certainly been aware of the huge amount you bring to this forum and the Stag community with your skills and knowledge. If people have removed you as Moderator while you are recovering from a heart attack, then it's just unbelievable. Having the heart attack is bad enough, and part of the recovery is about keeping busy and having plenty to do the exercise both the heart and the mind, as positive thinking is a key player in recovery from most serious illnesses. I'm sure that you will actively look for things to do as things go forwards; it's just a downright shame that the SOC Forum members will no longer be the beneficiary of your contributions. Somebody has made a complete F*** Up of this, and to do it when someone is still appreciating their survival of a heart attack is simply unbelievable. I don't know the exact circumstances, but I know the forum will be a lesser place without you. I wish you would reconsider, and that the offending and offensive person stands down instead.

Bearing in mind the members pay for and are supposed to be the beneficiaries of the club both by magazine and forum would it be possible to have a vote by the members on whether or not the individual responsible for this outrage be told by the committee to stand down?

If the committee are unable to deal with such matters without pressure then maybe that is what we have to do and before he makes another unacceptable decision!
