It's groundhog day again. Everytime anyone posts something nice about a product, service or supplier the next one comes along to voice the opposite opinion. Problem is:
    a) people like praise, but people get pi$$ed off with criticism
    b) there are usually two sides to a dispute, but the "dissed" party is not often aware or able or willing to respond on the forum
    c) in the past it has been determined to be a mammoth, risky and largely nugatory task to maintain any sort of register of satisfaction with suppliers.

In summary, I personally feel that my signature sums up the best way to "behave" on a public forum.

Perhaps Gary as OP could give us an indication of how the Dolomite Forum deals with posting public accusations that a supplier reneged, lied or otherwise botched a job.

In the meantime, I would suggest that we leave the Supplier Bashing (at least during the season of peace and goodwill to all mankind!)

Perhaps it's time to start winter stolstice bashing.
In about AD300 some cretins in Rome decided they would brazenly turn a mega pagan festival, into a catholic group fest.....which of course has now turned back into the biggest materialistic event in human history, with let's pretend fake everything.

cmon guys...let's just blow huge amounts of cash totally pointlessly and pretend we are all having fun, and it's merry this and happy that.

When you realise there are more than ever lots of people who go through this harrowing period in total loneliness, or plain without a bean, or starving or sleeping in the street while being brow beaten by the "haves" claiming you're stupid or a loser for being a "have not"...

Just remember there's a heck of a lot of them out there, and most people don't give a damn so long as "I'm alright jack" keeps opening the endless bottles of booze and overeating on most everything...

          Just saying...
Nothing to do with the extra luxury of driving a Stag really.....or Ward either.

Pleasing to see an honest and balanced view, Stag maintenance using specialist restorers can be extremely expensive and only the best service, communication and honesty should do, some happy customers some not so, good to see.

As I said my comments were based on my experience some time ago.
I'm really glad people who are using them now are happy with the standard of work recieved, that's all most Classic Car Owners want. We all realise paying someone to work on our cars is usually expensive but it's generally the quality of work that counts. I do most of the work on my car myself these days and yes I am very picky but I recently had some bodywork done at Yorkshire Triumph and was very pleased with the quality of the work.

I expect this reply to be pulled by the moderators but my experience with this company was not an odd problem or mistake and I feel I have the right to air my views.
From what I've read perhaps this companies standards have improved since I dealt with them as it was a while ago. Unfortunately my experience was so bad that it still annoys me. I complained to them about the work carried out on my car and feel I was blatantly lied to.
I'm glad others have found them good to deal with and felt the need to praise them but if this forum is a place where positive feedback is allowed to aid fellow SOC members in selecting a company to work on their cars then it has to be expected that members are also going to post negative comments if they have had poor service from the same company.

trying to DM you but it won’t work?
can I have a chat with you?
