How can it be to original spec if it is black? They are grey as standard.
The bottle and pump are the same shape as the original typebut for some unknown reason the pump and cap are black. The pump failed, (cheap reproduced parts)
I've seen these in black before, as OE, don't know the explanation. Six to Eight inches of snow this morning, got some nice piccys, then got stuck, lots of folk stopped to admire the Stag, but a good hour before someone offered tohelp.:?Martin.
On my last Stag, when the washer motor packed in due to the rubber impellor shedding its blades, I bought an 'universal' pump from an accessory store. Removed the original motor from the cap and substituted the universal one. Yes it was black and the motor was horizontal rather than vertical, but it certainly shifted the water. Added a n/r valve and the result was a huge improvement over the OE unit.
That is the way I'll go if the washer motor gives up on this Stag.

Hi Adrian,
I remember it well. 'Senior Management' was drooling over the 'bling' whilst I was more interested in the Aston Martin DB5 .
Any chance you can email me the pictures?
