apart from the obvious trawl through and a previous suggestion to cover how Don being able to join in the debate on here andending up buying a stag and joining the SOC as a result (this is in) I look forward to your suggestions to form the basis of the article.

 How about:

How robust the Stag is ( http://stagownersclub.mywowbb.com/forum1/3688.html ) even pulling out a stuck VW!

or how the Stag is helping to teach physics to todays youth ( http://stagownersclub.mywowbb.com/forum1/3693.html ).

dodgy kevlar hoses still being sold by major suppliers ( http://stagownersclub.mywowbb.com/forum1/3673.html )

 stainless steel bumpers

 fixing stripped spark plug threads

 best jacking points

Quarterlight rubbers (hopefully soon to be remanufactured)

 parts qualilty again!

 supercharger updates

 that'll do for starters!

How about a request for Stag Forum Members to submit (sensible) ideas for the best way of beating the "Credit Crunch" & thereby keeping their Stags running efficiently at minimum cost, and not having to put them up for Sale as some who have been unfortunate to have lost their jobs due to the crises have had to do!

SteveP wrote:Very true, I am still surprised that there is a very high premium placed on stag parts..recently I was researching brake discs and was interested in the super duper grooved ones from EBC but at £177 for a pair thought..no way... next to consider were the Rossini discs again in the same ball park! Tony Hart had the cheapest drilled discs at about £140 (I think..Tony put me right if you like!).Terry - can you define 'minimum cost' as it relates to the Stag:P

But in the end being a Tight Wad have gone a different route... Maye the car we love should be known as the $tag.................

 $$$$$$$$sssssssssssstag.............
