When we went to Duxford they opened the gate earlyat the Pleasure ground (i think thats what it is).

There are several pull in's between the hotel and that carpark or the Steakhouse carpark just rightpast the mini roundabout was also a suggestion.

What is the prefered option?

OK guys - draft permission has been obtained to join you for the run from Clacketts down to Brands, subject to me not getting a domestic ASBO, and my ability to drag myself from the pit.

I will have to leave you at the gate and return to domestic duties as pre-arranged with the memsahib....

Hi Everyone,

For those of you that want to convoy on Sunday from Runnymede Pleasure grounds, if they have not opened the gates there is a big enough entrance outside some warehouse units in between the Pleasure grounds and Runnymede hotel entrance, on the same side of the road, I could be there for 7.30am just to make sure you do not miss the spot.

Also it would be nice to know the number of who are going to meet up there for sure as we do not want to be hanging around for to long, and if Al is joining us we must remember he is running in his rebuild and will not want to push it to hard.

Just dug out the camcorder for Sunday to charge battery and check all iswell.

Good job i did camera gives impression its working correctly but when you play back nothing happens:shock:

Cleaned the heads and it now appears to work. Looks like I might need to raid the stockroom

Hello from sunny, hot, sticky Athens

Bit of a weekend building here.....have been invited (and must attend)a 50th bash at an indian restaurant on Saturday evening :shock:.No drinking and will possibly result in an assisted lap on Sunday . Yep, I'll meet you guys at Runnymede, unless Al prefers to go slower and I will foolow him around to the Chertsey junction. We could watch and join you as you pass underneath. If Runnymede, I'll aim for 07.30 - 07.45. I'll speak with Al between now and then.

How fast are you all planning on going?

I can get up to 60 mph at 2500 rpm, or I can do 480 miles between now and Sunday and go to 3000 rpm
