    GREEN STUFF.

My green stuff pads are coming up for replacement after about 16.000 miles, I'm a bit disappointed at the mileage, but I have found them to be superior, better braking and much less dust, any thoughts guys ? :? Martin.

suppose it depends how hard you drive it! Does not sound too bad to me, but maybe its Karen's driving that wears out the pads on all our cars!!

Auto or Manual Martin ? Auto will always need more brake use - i'd normally rekon on 15-20000 milesper pad set for MOD, you are not that far out.

My Greenstuff pads are only 5K old and still in good order

i would say 16000 miles is pretty fair even if you did well above the average miles they are probabaly going to last 3 years, if they save on wheel cleaning and performance is better then happy days.

do they not put black dust all over the wheels then??

If so I might give them a try just to stop that if they are not going to ruin my wheels like the standard ones.

Hiya, they do deposit dust, but not nearly as much as standard pads, and the discs don't appear to have worn more than usual.I think I will go for them again, based on the mileage comments from you guys. A big thank you. Martin.
