I have an old wiring loom, that I've been cutting up for part's, ill see if there's a window switch socket ,can't look until weekend, and that's if i can get there snow
Dave
Thanks Dave, but save your boots. A PO had wired from the female pin socket to make the lucar connection switch work, meaning they had not cut away the socket. I found the socket bizarrely tucked under the carpet out of sight. Now I can use a proper blank switch without having to rewire.
Another tip is believe it or not the new switch outer body fits the old switch gear. After taking mine apart I was surprised just how good a match they are. The reason for not fitting the whole thing. Well as expected the inside new switch is not as good as the old rather typical.
it's expensive but you keep the better function.
