In the engine bay as far as the tee piece should be 5/16 bore.
From the tee piece to each carb should be 1/4 bore.
All mine were 5/16, which explained why my carb connections had never felt very tight! Maybe others have the same problem.
I was sourcing hose with the correct spec for modern fuels, but I could not trace a 5/16 1/4 reducing tee, so I used a 5/16 tee, and then after a short length of 5/16 hose on each carb feed, a 5/16 - 1/4 reducer, followed by a length of 1/4 hose to the carb stub.'72 Manual O/d Saffron Yellow
