North Lancashire have organised a run on Sunday morning. Going up from Salmesbury towards Slaidburn then back around Pendle Hill then over to Oswaldtwistle to a finish in time for Lunch there.
We are expecting 10 Stags and a dry day
mike were do you set off from in Essex might come along
Hi Richard,
The Old Windmill South Hanningfield but you'd need to check with Andrew Smith first as there's a meal at the end of it which I think is fully booked...
Give him a call - his contact details are in the mag'
Did 202 miles today
Would have been only 70 if not for my lithium ion jumper pack!
First stop and the battery couldn't even engage the starter solenoid.
Thought that was it, but the jumper pack saved the day, I fact 6 times until home.
Alternator charging okay, in fact when home the battery showed as fully charged, but obviously couldn't deliver the amps when required.
New battery required, and I would recommend a lithium ion jumper pack as essential carry
Drove our Stag this morning to Poole and and this evening across part of the Purbecks. Disappointed to see only 5 other classics being driven. A beautiful white Zephyr 6, a moggie traveller, a moggie, a 2 CV, and a TR6.

Went to the Bicester Scramble. Plenty of Stags and a whole heap of other cars to lust over including some lovely Porsches and a couple of amazing Gordon Keebles (now there’s a story). Well done Peter Howells for getting such a good SOC representation.
Paul - 3 projects, 1 breaker - garage built and housing 2 white Stags. One runs, one doesn't

Great 100 mile drive out with hunt (for those with navigators) organised by MG Northumbria who invite other classic clubs to join in. 40-odd cars including 5 Stags. Cool start, though we got more sunshine than forecasted.

Missed seeing you! I took myself for a drive around Poole, Sandbanks and Westbourne before going to Classics on the Prom at Bournemouth. I saw a couple of Midgets and a couple of Mk2 Jags on my travels, and quite a poor turnout for Classics on the Prom - probably only about 30 - 40 cars.
Perhaps David you will be at the Cock & Bottle next Monday for the monthly meet? Depending on progress with the Alvis, I will be there with that. If not the Java Green machine. God willing of course!
